MAIN GALLERY
THE LANGUAGE OF LANDSCAPE AND MEMORY
JAN 13, 2023-FEB 5, 2023
FEATURING RONALD KROUTEL, MEGHAN WILBAR AND CATHERINE ROBINSON

This exhibit explores the human relationship to the natural world, where through our perception of and attachment to our environment, we find a sense of identity. Constructing landscapes not only through the lens of ecological, topographical, or environmental considerations, these artists also create sociological and cultural compositions capable of eliciting memories of specific times and places. They believe that our environment is not just what is around us, rather, it is the ascription of hopes, ethics, values and philosophies to the places we retain in our memories.
