LONGMONT, May 28, 2015—Boulder County Farmers Markets, a seasonal marketplace for locally grown produce, locally produced food products and local artisans, will re-open its Wednesday night Longmont Farmers Market on June 3, 2015 on 5th Avenue between Main Street and Kimbark Street. The Wednesday night market season will run weekly through July 22.

Beginning its second season, the Wednesday night Longmont Farmers Market will include eight farms, eight other local food and drink vendors, and a food truck or stand each week. New this year, the market will highlight a rotating cast of Longmont breweries in a beer garden, beginning with Left Hand Brewing, and including Pumphouse Brewery, Grossen Bart Brewery, 300 Suns Brewing, and Oskar Blues Brewery.

Brian Coppom, executive director of Boulder County Farmers Markets, said, “The Wednesday market is a more intimate version of its Saturday counterpart, giving our customers more opportunity to connect with local growers. To make it even easier, we have made changes this season to make the market feel even more welcoming for those spending time with their families and friends, including expanding the beer garden and planning several special events."

The Wednesday night market will host several special events this year, including Wellness Night on June 17 and Family Night on July 15..

The Boulder and Longmont farmers markets are growers-only markets that support local farmers, ranchers and food producers. For more information about Boulder County Farmers Markets, visit bcfm.org.
