Welcome to Downtown Longmont's Certified Creative District!
The Colorado Creative Districts program certifies communities that contribute to our state’s economy through creativity, culture, and the arts. The program’s goal is to help communities increase jobs, incomes, and investments in creative places.
Colorado Creative Districts attract artists and creative entrepreneurs to a community, infusing new energy and innovation, which in turn enhances the economic and civic capital of the community. Districts also serve as a focal point for celebrating and strengthening a community’s unique identity, becoming a space to showcase cultural and artistic organizations and events, and contribute to the development of healthy communities.

Longmont Arts Week celebrates our creative community in a week-long showcase of talent, culture, education and collaboration. The week is a collective effort to increase awareness and promote creatives and creative organizations throughout the Longmont Community.
Longmont Arts Week is bookended by two community favorite events, held in the Longmont Creative District: Saturday, Sept. 6 – Rhythm at Roosevelt (30th and LAST Anniversary!) 2pm-10pm, Roosevelt Park (700 Longs Peak Ave.) - Presented by the City of Longmont and Saturday, Sept. 13 – ArtWalk on Main presented by Firehouse Art Center.
