Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When and where can I pick up my tickets that I purchased?
A: Tickets will be available for pickup the week before the event (M-F 9-5) at TBK Bank (401 Coffman St.), as well as on the day of the event (Saturday, Feb 1)
Q: When and where does the Showcase take place?
A: Saturday, February 1st, 2020, from 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. in 17 venues throughout Downtown Longmont.
Q: What does the GA ticket get me?
A: The General Admission ticket gets you access to every show on the schedule (entry is not guaranteed based on capacity. See below for more info). For non-ticket holders, several venues are closed to the public or require a cover charge. Your Showcase ticket will get you in to the closed and cover charge venues for free. The remaining venues will stay open to the general public, but all of them are offering reserved space and/or seating for ticket holders, as well as some incredible Food & Drink Deals for ticketholders only. The value for all these deals alone is more than the ticket price, not to mention the awesome lineup of music throughout the day.
Q: What does the VIP ticket get me?
A: The VIP ticket gets you everything the GA ticket does, plus access to the exclusive Artists' and VIP After-Party. The party will go from 10 p.m. until late at the Elks Lodge, and you'll get the chance to mingle with all your favorite artists from the day. There might even be some surprise jam sessions and collaborations that you might never get to see unless you're there. VIP tickets are extremely limited and will sell out, so get yours now!
Q: How do I get in to the Artists' After-Party?
A: The only way to get access to the Artists' After-Party is to purchase a VIP ticket to the Showcase, or to volunteer with us during the showcase. If you're interested in volunteering, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. The party will go from 10 p.m. until late at the Elks Lodge, and you'll get the chance to mingle with all your favorite artists from the day. There might even be some surprise jam sessions and collaborations that you might never get to see unless you're there.
Q: Does my ticket guarantee me entry in to every show?
A: Not necessarily. The ticket guarantees you ACCESS to every show, but different venues have different capacities, and can’t legally allow more people than that. If there are certain shows you absolutely don’t want to miss out on, we suggest arriving plenty early to make sure you get in before it’s full.
Q: Will I be able to have a seat at all of the performances?
A: We can’t guarantee that everyone will have a seat for every performance. Many venues will have ample seating, but there may be cases where it becomes standing room only. We suggest showing up early to increase the likelihood that you will get a seat for the performance.
Q: If I can’t get in to a venue, am I totally out of luck?
A: Not necessarily. There will always be multiple shows happening at the same time, so even if one venue is full, you can walk to one of the others that should have room. Or you could wait outside a venue in hopes that someone will leave during the show and you’ll be able to head in. But no guarantees.
Q: Is the only way to purchase tickets online?
A: That’s the easiest and most convenient way, but if you would like to make your purchase in-person you can come in to the LDDA Office at 320 Main St. We are open Mon-Thurs 8:30-5, and Friday 8:30-4. We can accept Visa, Mastercard or Cash.
Q: Can’t I just go to the shows without a ticket? Why should I pay $25?
A: You could go to a few of the shows at certain venues, but you won't get a very good spot and you’ll be missing out on a ton of stuff. You can’t get in to our ticket-only venues, you won't be allowed into the reserved seating/standing areas at all of the venues, and you won’t be able to take advantage of the incredible Food & Drink Deals the venues are offering. Just these offers are worth way more than $25, not to mention the incredible music lineup throughout the day. And, if you don’t buy a ticket you don’t get the highly sought-after Groundhog button pin.
Q: Alright, that’s totally worth it. I bought my ticket online, how do I get the physical ticket?
A: The ‘ticket’ for the Showcase will be a 2” x 2” button you can pin to your clothing (for convenience, visibility, and the fashion statement). Tickets will be available for pickup the week before the event (M-F 9-5) at TBK Bank (401 Coffman St.), as well as on the day of the event (Saturday, Feb 1) We will e-mail all ticket purchasers with pickup information the week before the Showcase.
Q: This sounds like something my whole family would enjoy. Is it a family-friendly event?
A: Yes, definitely! All ages are welcome to attend. Discretion is advised based on venue and performer - we can't guarantee family-friendly language and content for the entire duration of every single performance, but the event is absolutely family-friendly. Child (12 and under) tickets are available on a LIMITED BASIS for $10.
Q: Will the Showcase happen rain (or snow!) or shine?
A: Yes. Since all the performances are indoors, it will happen no matter what! Be prepared for unpredictable Colorado weather, though.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking will be available on-street, and in public and venue parking lots. Please be safe and courteous!
Q: How do I get around to all the different shows?
A: All of the venues are within several blocks of each other, Walking is strongly encouraged (we didn't name it the 'Winter Driveabout'), and is probably the fastest, most efficient way to get between shows. For those shows that are far apart, or for those attendees who aren't quite as mobile as others, the wonderful Wonder Tours will be running a complementary shuttle for ticketholders throughout the event.
Q: What if I have other questions?
A: Feel free to e-mail email@example.com or call 303-651-8750.
