Get Inspired at Inspiration Art Gallery!

In the Longmont Creative District, some of our most favorite memories Downtown are born from the initiatives and actions of our passionate community of local creatives. It's ideas like ArtWalk and the Winter Walkabout Music Showcase that have grown over the years to involve and inspire the entire Longmont community, and showcase our vibrant local art and culture. Now, on the walls of a once blank office space in Downtown Longmont, local creative Cynthia Barnes is working to infuse inspiration Downtown through art and community.

Inspiration Art Gallery brings together a co-op of local artists and creatives in the gallery space at 320 Main St., located in between the Bricks Retail and Longmont Downtown Development Authority office. Expect to be cheerfully greeted by local artist and educator Cynthia Barnes, who can often be found in the space working on personalized pet portraits or passion projects.

Cynthia, former owner of Inspiration Art Academy in Downtown Longmont, moved into the space soon after closing her business in early 2020, quickly transforming it into a studio and gallery. With an idea to curate a show featuring local artists offering work for accessible and affordable prices, the Inspiration Art Gallery naturally came together, opening this past November during Small Business Weekend.

The current show allows visitors to view and purchase work available from local artists, featuring pieces from Cynthia Barnes herself, Chad Straka, Amanda Maldonado, Elaine Waterman, Lisa Mastropietro Evans, Patrick Pair, Brandy Coons, Tyrell Osborn, and Joyanna Rose Gittings.

With each piece priced under $100, Inspiration Art Gallery is the perfect place to discover a one of a kind gift for a budding art collector this holiday season, or perhaps a piece that will inspire you within your own home. Each purchase directly supports a creative working withing our Longmont community, bringing us together through inspiring spaces and innovative ideas.
