July is National Culinary Month!  Cooks, bakers, and chefs are honored for their creative expression through food using innovative recipes and meal concepts (according to the National Restaurant Association). When the Longmont Creative District was designated, a strong sector of creativity came from our craft food, beverage and bakery scene.  Our Downtown Plan of Development has “Encourage and promote a craft and culinary cluster” as one of our goals!  If you are looking for space for your business, send us a note.

• Get crafty at one of downtown’s nine craft beverage spots 
• Finish your exploration with something sweet from one of our ice cream, candy or doughnut shops! 

And, don’t let those calories get your down.  Walk it off while you explore the rest of Downtown! Did you know that there are more than 60 health, wellness and beauty businesses in the neighborhood? Come get a massage, acupuncture, a new hair style or explore one of our many metaphysical retail stores. 

Grab a bestie and come explore YOUR downtown neighborhood. The flowers are in full bloom and our wonderful retail stores have amazing, unique merchandise. And don’t forget to set a reminder - Saturday, August 12 is the annual Downtown Sidewalk Sale!
