Hi, I'm Slater — I teach printmaking and photography at Tinkermill Makerspace, and I make plenty of both myself when I'm not showing other people how. Lately I've been dragging that printmaking-and-photo brain into new territory: metal and wood, approached the same way I approach a print — thinking in layers, textures, and transferred images rather than "correct" technique.
By day I'm a UX designer, so I've got a soft spot for clean composition and things that actually work, not just look good. Put it all together and I'm your person for custom art, logos, t-shirt designs, or one-off commissions, happy to talk through an idea over coffee or just get straight to sketching.
