Autistic and of Italian heritage, Nicola Stefano is a painter that communicates to the world through artistic means as a way of expressing himself, by sharing pieces that deal with personal experiences backed with even more personal stories.
Inspired by Salvador Dali, he once said that “what you see isn’t always what you see”… Those words then sparked the idea of “what if SEAING IS BELIEVING?”, leading Nicola to then engage with the viewer to observe through the perception of sight. Many of his works put a focus on eyes within surreal figures, animals and character studies.
