This October we are celebrating artists! Come to the Firehouse Beaux Arts Ball dressed as your favorite artist or work of art (totally open to your creative interpretation!). We are all artists here, so go ahead and get kooky, weird and creative with the theme.
We all know this is a difficult time for creativity and expression, so join us on a night that thrives on the spirit of rebellion and innovation, providing a platform for marginalized voices and challenging societal norms. Help us embrace the feeling of artistic defiance but also cultivate a vibrant community that champions creativity in the face of adversity.
Self-expression through fashion is highly encouraged at the Beaux Arts Ball, whether you’re wearing your finest formals, vintage interpretations, or full on costumes. Guests wishing to show off their outfits at the Ball will be invited to strut across the dance floor during the GRAND PROMENADE starting at 8pm. The dress code is “Favorite Artist or Work of Art” but as always, this is an optional dress theme, not a requirement – feel free to dress in your own preferred level of formals.
Enjoy the donation-based bar service and indulge in a delectable selection of hors d’oeuvres. Visit the photo studio on site for complimentary portraits. Silent auction of our Firehouse Catrinas will be available for bidding until 9pm.
Since its founding in 1986, the non-profit Firehouse Art Center has filled a unique niche in the community by providing educational programs for all ages, free exhibitions where anyone can engage with art and artists, and cultural events connecting creatives to the community. The Beaux Arts Ball provides an additional avenue to encourage creative expression, something that has always been at the core of the Firehouse's mission. Funds raised at this event will help continue its crucial work bringing the arts to Longmont, Colorado
