Be Love Longmont: Envisioning the Beloved Community A Two-Day Intensive Workshop with Dr. Vonnetta West. The Beloved Community Coalition of Longmont is honored to host Dr. Vonnetta West (GoWest Consulting and The King Center, Atlanta) for a transformative two-day workshop. Building on our recent speaker series, this experience is designed to help us move from theory to action as we co-create a vision for a just, nonviolent, and thriving Longmont.
Event Details:
- Dates: Friday July 10 & Saturday July 11, 2026
- Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Includes a 90-minute lunch break)
- Location: Longmont City Council Chambers
The Commitment: To ensure the best outcome for all participants, we ask that you:
- Commit to the full 2-day schedule.
- Complete the pre-workshop materials (selected videos and readings from Dr. King) which will be sent to you upon registration.
Investment: A donation of $75 is suggested to help cover workshop costs. However, scholarships are readily available. We are committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from participating in this vital community work. Seniors and Youth are Free. If selected you will receive an email for where to send your donation or if you have received a scholarship.
