As part of Longmont’s 2022 Día de los Muertos celebration, Downtown Longmont businesses will once again host ofrendas to honor the tradition of the holiday and commemorate those who have passed on. On Friday, October 8, Downtown Longmont businesses will unveil their ofrenda displays, and maps for self-guided tours of all business altar locations will be available at downtown businesses, as well as at the Longmont Downtown Development Authority office at 320 Main St. Ofrendas will be on display through Friday, November 7th.
Downtown celebration of the Day of the Dead includes altar and Gigantes displays from participating businesses. Their altars consist of honoring their deceased loved ones, pets, heroes etc. Everyone is encouraged to do a self-guided tour of these beautiful altars from Oct 8-Nov 7 from the businesses listed below.
