Flash Mountain Flood is set to celebrate a decade of original Colorado rock ’n’ roll at the Wibby Festgarten Friday, Sept 26.
Marking 10 years of high-energy music and improvisation, the band will be joined by special guests Dave Hebert and friends for a night packed with surprises, extended jams, and unforgettable moments.
This milestone anniversary promises to be a true celebration of the community, spirit, and sound that has defined Flash Mountain Flood since 2015.
Flash Mountain Flood, founded in 2015 in Boulder, Colorado, has become a staple of the state’s vibrant jam scene. Known for their legendary Wednesday night residency at Owsley’s Golden Road, the band quickly earned a reputation for electrifying performances that blend rock ’n’ roll roots with boundless improvisation.
The group has brought their high-energy sound to stages across Colorado and beyond, appearing at festivals such as NedFest and Beanstalk, and sharing bills with some of the jam world’s most celebrated acts. In 2019, Denver Westword named Flash Mountain Flood one of Colorado’s top jam bands, cementing their place among the region’s most exciting live acts.
