The intention of this class is to reduce fear of and misunderstanding around children's fever. What is fever? What is its function? How is fever different in children? When is it dangerous? Attendees of this class will learn how to answer and address these questions with confidence and competence. This class will provide education on the physiological process of fever, commonly associated symptoms, how to heal and recover with food and herbs, proper and safe herbal dosing for children, what to avoid during a febrile illness, and more. This class will help parents and care-givers make a vital mindset shift in their attitude toward children's fever, seeing it as an ally and a miraculous healing response instead of a threat or danger to their child.
