Roosevelt Park, Longmont

Longmont and Lafayette proudly unite for this year’s regional Juneteenth Community Celebrations. Our partnership reflects a shared commitment to truth telling, community building, and honoring the legacy of Black liberation. Across two cities, we celebrate as one united in history, united in purpose, and united in the ongoing work of freedom. Join us as we commemorate our 5th annual Longmont Juneteenth Community Celebration and our inaugural joint Juneteenth celebration with Lafayette!

Juneteenth marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates the rich heritage, resilience, and ongoing contributions of Black communities. It’s a day to stand together, honor the past, Black resilience and build a future rooted in justice and unity.
This will be a vibrant celebration of culture, freedom, and courageous beginnings.  Join us for an inspiring day filled with delicious food, captivating live entertainment, special guests, and the warmth of community spirit.
