Lauren Michaels and Tumbleweed Road are redefining the sound of Country Rock. Fronted by Lauren Michaels, the 2021 Colorado Country Hall of Fame Female Vocalist of the Year, the band radiates authenticity, passion, and undeniable talent.
Drawing inspiration from both the raw grit of classic rock and the soulful twang of traditional country, their music creates a rich and dynamic listening experience. The Band
At the heart of the band’s dynamic sound is Sandy Craig – a talented guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, and a longtime member of all Lauren’s musical projects. His deep-rooted connection to the band brings both consistency and creativity to their songwriting and live performances.
Jeffery Golden, a long-time Colorado favorite and winner of the 2024 Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame Instrumentalist of the Year, drives the band’s energy with his masterful guitar work and powerful harmonies.
On bass and harmony vocals, Mike Wysocki brings a commanding presence, balancing rhythmic precision with soulful depth. A third-place winner of the 2013 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, his expertise adds a rich groove and undeniable chemistry to the band’s foundation.
Holding down the rhythm section is Carl Holtz, an accomplished studio drummer from Washington, DC, whose sharp instincts and dynamic percussion tie the band’s sound together seamlessly.

Lauren’s rich history in the music industry includes extensive touring alongside Ryan Crys and the Rough Cuts, as well as two celebrated albums with The Trubeloes and the Lauren Michaels Band. Now, with Tumbleweed Road, she leads a dynamic ensemble that blends rugged, down-home charm with electrifying rock energy.
