Featuring Sharon Roffman, Violin | Sharon Roffman returns to Longmont to perform Brahms’ beloved Violin Concerto, and your Longmont Symphony performs one of Prokofiev’s most enduring works, Symphony No. 5. Composed in 1944 as Russian troops were advancing on Nazi forces, this symphony expresses heroism, tragedy, and the resilience of the human spirit.
