Each month, Bryan Dubrow leads a focused one hour deep dive into a specific corner of the bluegrass guitar tradition. No broad strokes or beginner basics here — every session is built around a single topic, technique, or piece of repertoire, giving you the kind of concentrated attention that's hard to find anywhere else.
May — ‘Til then I was the Rambling Kind… Learning (and learning from) Charles Sawtelle’s solo on “Nellie Kane” by Hot Rize
These classes are designed for intermediate to advanced players — folks who are comfortable holding their own at a local jam and are ready to develop new tools, sharpen their ears, and go deeper into what makes this music tick.
The Woodshed meets on the third Wednesday of every month.
