The City of Longmont will be hosting a Winter Bike to Work Day station at the Civic Center Plaza where riders can enjoy hot coffee, cocoa, and breakfast burritos. In the event of colder-than-normal temperatures and/or precipitation, the event will move indoors across the street at the Development Services Center located at 385 Kimbark Street.
With the City’s recent rollout of the Ride Longmont on-demand micro transit service, City of Longmont Transportation Planning staff will use the event as an opportunity to educate visitors to the station on this new service. A Ride Longmont micro transit vehicle along with Ride Longmont staff will be on-hand to provide hands on demonstrations to cyclists on how to use the micro transit bike rack as well as answer questions related to the service.
