UPSTAIRS IN THE CLASSROOM- FREE BUT ACCEPTING AND APPRECIATING DONATIONS!!!
A meet-cute for folks who want to get more involved in anti-ICE work and the groups who need them.
Starting with a short film screening and facilitated discussion, and followed by a semi-catered potluck with music and mingling, this event is designed top to bottom as a gentle on-ramp into more meaningful resistance to increasing authoritarianism and the threat it poses to our immigrant neighbors. We'll hear from representatives from local rapid response and mutual aid efforts about what's already underway and how to plug in, and attendees will get the chance to chat directly with each other about their skills and resources, their capacity, and their needs.
Small bites by Teocalli -- bring another dish of your own to share and/or an empty container to take some home!
