Downtown Longmont Parking Permits

The Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA) offers parking permits in public lots for businesses, employees, and residents. Permits allow vehicles to stay in a designated public parking lot all day. All permits are now managed online through our digital permitting system, no need to visit the LDDA office.

Purchase Permits or Day Passes

All permits are associated with a vehicle and license plate and no physical permits are issued.

Day Passes
Need parking for a single day? Day Passes are available online and allow you to park in a designated lot for one day.

Long-Term Parking Permits

Permits are sold in 6-month terms (prorated), and allow you to park in a designated lot.
January – June
July – December

Group Permits

For businesses purchasing permits for a large number of employees, a Group Administrator is assigned to manage all employee and vehicle information. Please email, call, or visit the LDDA Office to set up a group permit.

Individual Permit FAQs

Enable auto-renewal in your permit account. With auto-renewal turned on, your permit will renew automatically each term using your saved payment method, so you don’t have to take any action unless your card details change.

If your preferred lot is sold out, you can still complete your application to be placed on the waiting list. Your card will not be charged until a space becomes available.
Alternatively, you may return to the start and select another nearby lot. Click on the parking map on the home page to get an overview of the lots.

Follow the instructions provided on your citation. You can also review the Parking Enforcement FAQs here.

Email Nicole.Tooker@longmontcolorado.gov to request a cancellation. She will process your cancellation and refund any remaining full months, minus the current month.

No. Your permit is valid only for the specific lot you selected at the time of purchase.

No. On-street parking permits are not available. Please refer to the parking map to see which lots offer permit parking.

A permit does not guarantee an available space; it guarantees only that you may remain parked all day once you find a space in your designated lot. You may circle the lot to wait for an opening, or park in another public space for the free two-hour period and try again later.

There is no longer a grace period once the renewal period ends. However, you will have a full two months prior to the new term to complete your renewal.

Group Permit FAQs

For group permits, use the “Reassign” button; it functions as the edit option.

No. Any unpurchased permits from your group allotment will be released back into the general permit pool and made available to others.

  • If you want fewer permits next term, you can make that change yourself during the renewal period. You’ll be able to purchase up to your original allotment.
  • If you don’t see this option, email Nicole.Tooker@longmontcolorado.gov, and she can update your group settings.
  • To increase your permit allotment, please contact Nicole.Tooker@longmontcolorado.gov, as this change cannot be made online at this time.

Select “Commercial Permits” to access your group permits.

There is no longer a grace period once the renewal period ends. However, you will have a full two months prior to the new term to complete your renewal.

Troubleshooting

The Save button will remain greyed out if any required field is left blank. Double-check that all fields are complete, including vehicle and personal information, and the button should become active.

This can occur if the page is refreshed or the back button is used.
Check the web address. It might say cmrpay.com, but the full and correct address is:
https://longmontcolorado.cmrpay.com/
Type this full address directly into your browser’s address bar, and the site should load correctly.
