From the Grand Dragon to known KKK members in the police, mayor’s and governor’s offices, Colorado once had the 2nd largest Ku Klux Klan membership in the United States. Discover the sordid history of the KKK in Colorado with a free special screening of a Rocky Mountain PBS film and history lecture. with Patty Limerick, Professor of History of the American West, and Elizabeth Beaudoin, Longmont Museum Curator of History.
