PAST DATES AND TIMES
LOCATION: Firehouse Art Center - 667 4th Ave
South Gallery Artist-In-Residence [June - August]
The Working Artist Project is a community driven art exhibit. We encourage the community to come together and create. We provide the space, the uniform, and the materials. By supplying nontraditional materials, we focus merely on the act of creating and not the mastery and replication of a specific skill or craft. We believe art's purpose is to bring people together from all walks of life. Art is a tool for communication and growth. We believe everyone has the right to express themselves and make art.
Artist duo Lyndsey Webster and Cory McKague invite anyone to join them as a Working Artist. They provide the work uniform, name tag and supplies and you get to do the work. Build something, tear something apart, splatter some paint: get creative and your work will be part of the culminating September exhibit.
Friday's, Saturdays's, Sunday's from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
June 15th - August 31st
Completely Free to Participate
Every piece that is made will be included in the final exhibition in September.

We appreciate how connected the Longmont Community is and would love to make that connection even stronger. We believe that art should be unrestricted and available to anyone and everyone. Everyone has a creative voice and the ability to create art.
Time sheet signups will also be posted in the South Gallery starting June 13. To chat with Lyndsey or Cory about the project, sign up for a slot, or see what other community members are working on, join them Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the South Gallery starting June 14.
