The #Strongmont Creates grant program celebrates the creative imagination and talent of our community! Creatives can apply for small grants to help fund original, impactful, and inspiring creative projects showcased on the streets, and inside the businesses and organizations of the Longmont Creative District.
The #Strongmont Creates grant program seeks to provide immediate assistance to the creatives in our community while introducing the unexpected, engaging, and inspiring creative imagination of our community into the everyday landscape of the Longmont Creative District.
The #Strongmont Creates grant funds range up to $250 per creative/original project, are accessible via an easy and straightforward application available in both English and Spanish, and have a fast turnaround time to get you the funds needed to start creating! Projects can include, but are certainly not limited to, digital creative programming, site-specific performances, poetry readings, temporary art installations, interactive activities, mini-dances, music performances, murals, and more. Have a totally out there project idea? We want to hear it!
Project proposals must follow current social distancing recommendations from Boulder County Public Health and Safer at Home guidelines. All public project proposals or performances also must be scheduled in advanced agreement with the LDDA.
Applications are accepted, reviewed, and will be awarded by the Longmont Creative District Advisory Committee and LDDA, on a rolling basis as funds are available.
