Longmont Downtown Development Authority Governance

The Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA) is governed by and derives authority from Colorado Revised Statutes Part 8 of Article 25 of Title 31; and City of Longmont enabling Ordinance No. 0-82-76, passed by Longmont voters in 1982. It's seven member Board of Directors [link to Board page] is appointed by Longmont City Council.

Within the LDDA Boundary is another district, the Longmont General Improvement District #1 (LGID). [Link to GID page] LGID was created in July of 1966 by petition as opposed to by election. The LDDA Board also manages the Longmont General Improvement District #1 on behalf of the City.

The Downtown Parking Fund is a City of Longmont fund that is administered by the LDDA.

The Longmont Creative District is also directed by the LDDA.
