Village Place is Longmont Housing Authority's most visible affordable housing property. Acquired in 2005, it has 72 apartments for seniors 62 years of age and older and disabled. Village Place is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit Property and is subject to income restrictions. A $1 million renovation program was completed in 2007 that upgraded the 15 year old building. The scope of the renovations included the replacement and upgrades to major building systems such as boilers, roof, lobby area, exterior siding, and appliances. Energy efficiency measures were a significant component of the renovations. We are conveniently located in Downtown Longmont.
